High Atlas Toubkal

Leave Marrakech early for Imlil, the gateway to Toubkal National Park at about 1,740 metres. The road climbs from the plain into the High Atlas, where terraced fields, walnut trees and mountain villages shape the valley. With a mountain guide, walk towards Aroumd through cultivated terraces and village paths. The pace can be adapted to the group and weather; this is a guided day hike, not an attempt to summit Jbel Toubkal. Share a Berber lunch with local hosts, with tajine, salad, bread and mint tea listed for this excursion. Return along the mule-track paths with broad views over the valley; a cooperative visit may be possible when available.
